An emotive light installation recreating Shakespeare's famous character as a hologram, elegantly poised during her last breaths in a tranquil water basin. The piece references Millais' famous painting of drowning Ophelia, recreating the scene in a convergence of classic literature, pre-Raphaelite art, and modern technology.

About the artist:

Davy & Kristin McGuire are mixed-reality artists from the UK, internationally renowned for their idiosyncratic experiments in merging physical and digital worlds. Their commissioners range from Dior to the Royal Shakespeare Company, and their awards include the Helpmann Award for Best Visual Theatre Production (Australia) and the Museum & Heritage Award for Innovation of the Year (UK).
